National Grange tasks us with the following:
Stewardship of Agriculture
Promote modern farming methods, support rural areas, and protect natural resources.
Community Empowerment
Connect neighbors, support local economies, and host public gatherings.
Civic Engagement
Encourage active participation in democracy through informed voting and local volunteering.
Inclusive Advocacy
Serve as a non-partisan voice for both rural and urban communities on important legislative issues.
Lifelong Learning
Foster education, skill-building, and leadership development for members of all ages.
Family and Tradition
Honor shared heritage while building strong generational ties through social events and meals.
National Grange
The Grange is a family, community organization with its roots in agriculture. Founded in 1867, the Grange was formed as a national organization with a local focus. Our members are given the opportunity to learn and grow to their full potential as citizens and leaders.
Illinois State Grange
- On the statewide level Granges cooperate by supporting a State Grange organization which oversees the activities of all subordinate Granges as well as conducts lobbying and other activities on behalf of all members in the state.
Pomona Grange
- On the county or regional level these local Granges band together into units known as Pomona Granges, primarily for discussion of concerns which affect a larger territory.
